Dienhausen is a district of the municipality of Denklingen in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .
geography
The church village Dienhausen is about two kilometers south of Denklingen on the LL 17 road on the edge of the Sachsenrieder forest .
history
Dienhausen is first mentioned in 1392 as Tünhausen , the place name comes from the personal name Tuono.
The sovereignty was up to the secularization in 1803 the Bishopric of Augsburg , the local government but the monastery of St. Mang Fussen.
Dienhausen came to the newly established Buchloe District Court in 1818 . In 1826, 250 days of community land and 17 properties are mentioned.
In the 19th century, in addition to agriculture, charcoal burning was an important branch of business, so in 1830 almost 25 piles of coal were burned down.
The forestry office of the Sachsenrieder forest was located in Dienhausen from 1885 to 1917.
On July 1, 1972, the previously independent community of Dienhausen was incorporated into Denklingen.
