Dieter Kapff

Dieter Kapff (* 1941 ; † August 16, 2011 ) was a German historian and journalist .

He studied history, politics and French in Tübingen , Erlangen and France . After completing a traineeship, he worked as an editor for the Stuttgarter Nachrichten , later for the Leonberger Allgemeine. From 1970 to 2000 he worked in the editorial department of the Stuttgarter Zeitung . In addition, he published numerous articles on archeology and monument preservation in Baden-Württemberg . In 1986 he received the German Prize for Monument Protection. The focus of his publications was on small monuments and archaeological excavations.
