Dieterich von Bocholtz
Dieterich (Dietrich, Diederich) Werner Graf von Bocholtz (-Alme) (born February 20, 1797 in Niesen , † October 9, 1861 in Alme ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

Bocholtz's father was the Prussian district administrator and Westphalian state minister Wilhelm Friedrich von Bocholtz . The mother was Efin Caroline nee Freiin von Weichs.
Von Bocholtz-Alme, who was a Catholic denomination, married Charlotte Freiin von Schade zu Ahausen († 1836) for the first time in 1825. After the death of his first wife, he married Franziska (Fanny) Freiin von Schade, a sister of the first wife, on April 26, 1838. He produced the following children:

- Arnold Hermann Wilhelm (* 1833)
- Clodwig Hermann Adolf (* 1835)
- Marie Therese Didelinde (* 1837)
Life
He fought as a cuirassier in the Wars of Liberation and received the Iron Cross . As a student at the Georg-August University of Göttingen , he became a member of the Teutonia fraternity and the newly founded (third) Curonia Goettingensis in 1816 . Entry made the vandals resentful. Bocholtz had to leave Göttingen as early as Easter 1817. He went to the Philipps University of Marburg , where he joined the Westphalian Landsmannschaft Guestphalia . In 1817 he was one of the founders of the Old Marburg fraternity Germania . Therefore relegated in March 1818 , he moved to the University of Jena . There he became a member and head of the original fraternity in 1818 . In 1820 he went to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin , where he joined the Arminia fraternity in Berlin and became a co-founder of the Hermninen fraternity . After completing his studies, he became a majorate at Alme und Niesen Castle .
Count Bocholtz belonged to the Prussian mansion from 1855 until his death in 1861 . There he was the leader of the center. Elected to the curia of the manor owners in the constituency of the Duchy of Westphalia, he was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Westphalia from 1833 to 1858 . In 1847 he was a participant in the First and in 1848 in the Second United State Parliament.
