Wilhelm von Bocholtz-Meschede

Arnold Hermann Wilhelm Graf von Bocholtz-Meschede (born November 21, 1833 in Meschede ; † February 18, 1890 in Düsseldorf ) was a Westphalian manor owner and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament .

Life

Wilhelm von Bocholtz-Meschede came from the noble family of Bocholtz . He was the son of Dieterich von Bocholtz and his first wife Charlotte Freiin von Schade zu Ahausen. He was majorate ruler of the Alme lordship and heir to the manors Niesen , Störmede , Menzel and Brabecke .

From 1867 to 1871 Wilhelm von Bocholtz-Meschede was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Minden 5 ( Höxter , Warburg ) and the Free Conservative Association . In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament from 1868. Since 1871 he belonged to the Prussian manor house . He was a member of the Imperial Deputation of the Reichstag and since 1887 a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament. From 1887 to 1890 he was also a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia .
