Dietlof Reiche

Dietlof Reiche (born March 31, 1941 in Dresden ) is a German writer of books for children and young people .

After graduating from high school, Reiche signed up as a career officer in the armed forces and studied mechanical engineering. From 1970 to 1974 he was a research assistant in the field of ergonomics. His first youth book Der Bleisiegelfälscher was awarded the German Youth Literature Prize. In 2003 he won the Segeberger Feder .

Reiche lives and works as a freelance writer in Hamburg . He is the brother of Volker Reiche .
