Dietmar Schott (born July 20, 1937 in Cologne ) is a German sports journalist .

Professional background

Dietmar Schott, who grew up in Hamburg, initially worked as a freelance journalist for Norddeutscher Rundfunk and founded the magazine Der Jazzer . He played basketball at HSV himself . In 1962 he returned to Cologne, played basketball at ASV Cologne and started working as a sports editor at Westdeutscher Rundfunk .
