Dietrich Segebrecht

Dietrich Segebrecht (born December 16, 1934 in Neuruppin ; † February 9, 2003 in Bremen ) was a German bookseller , librarian , journalist , author and small artist .

biography

After working initially as a bookseller, Segebrecht passed his library diploma exam in Hamburg in 1960 . Then he worked in Lübeck . From 1963 to 1966 he was the editor of the library journal BuB for the discussion part; then until 1972 worked as a feature editor for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (literature paper ). In 1973 he moved again to BuB in Reutlingen and was elected editor-in-chief by the library committees involved.

Segebrecht published numerous reviews in newspapers and magazines, articles in anthologies; he wrote texts, poetry, radio plays and plays, wrote cabaret programs and also published various works.
