Lutz Rademacher
Lutz Rademacher (* 1969 in Lübeck ) is a German conductor and general music director .
Life
Rademacher studied piano and conducting with Klauspeter Seibel at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . In 2003 he became assistant to the chief conductor at the Theater Basel . In 2005 and 2006 he was director of studies and musical assistant at the Bayreuth Festival . From 2007 to 2009 he was first conductor and deputy general music director at the Freiburg Theater . Rademacher has been General Music Director of the Detmold State Theater since 2013 .
In 2017, Lutz Rademacher succeeded in performing Gustav Mahler's monumental Resurrection Symphony for the first time in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region . For this undertaking, the symphonic orchestra of the Detmold State Theater was reinforced by the Detmold Chamber Orchestra , the choir consisted of the Opera Choir of the State Theater, the Chamber Choir of the Detmold University of Music , the Bad Lippspringe Cantorei , the Marienkantorei Lemgo and the Municipal Music Association Paderborn. The soprano Megan Marie Hart and Janina Hollich ( alto ) sang as soloists .
Rademacher lives in Detmold with his two children and his wife, the actress Helene Grass .
