Dietrich von Zedlitz-Leipe

Dietrich (Dietz) Gustav Sigismund Freiherr von Zedlitz-Leipe (born April 5, 1859 on the Käntchen manor , Lower Silesia ; † October 6, 1946 in Leipzig ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.

origin

He came from the Silesian noble family of the Zedlitz . His parents were Gustav Archibald von Zedlitz-Leipe (1824–1914) and his wife Countess Johanna zur Lippe-Weissenfeld (1828–1862).

Life

Von Zedlitz-Leipe studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1877 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. First government assessor, in 1890 he became district administrator for the district of Schweidnitz . He held the office until 1919. He then lived on his manor Käntchen (now Kątki, zu Marcinowice ) in the Schweidnitz district until he was expelled from Silesia .
