Dietrich zu Klampen (born February 10, 1959 ) is a German publisher and bookseller .
Life
While still studying for a degree in pedagogy at Leuphana University Lüneburg , in 1983, Dietrich zu Klampen founded the zu Klampen Verlag together with Gerhard Schweppenhäuser and Rolf Johannes . After graduating, he worked as a social pedagogue at the DGB's vocational training center in Büsum . In 1989, however, zu Klampen decided to make the publishing work full-time . In 1990 he founded the Unibuch bookstore in Lüneburg with Rolf Johannes .
Volunteering
Dietrich zu Klampen is a board member of the Hannover Literature House and of the North Regional Association of the German Book Trade Association . From 2010 to 2015 he formed the board of directors of the Kurt Wolff Foundation with Stefan Weidle and Monika Bilstein . Before that he was involved in various committees of the German Book Trade Association .
