Dimitrie Cantemir (formerly Silișteni ) is a municipality in Vaslui County in the Romanian region of Moldova , near the border with the Republic of Moldova . The seat of the municipality is Hurdugi .

Hurdugi is located 54 kilometers from the district capital Vaslui .
