Dirk Jacobs (born August 6, 1970 in Dortmund ) is a German television journalist and television presenter for news, politics and sports. He is a reporter and head of duty at the ZDF morning magazine. He presents the news on RBB television, including the evening show, and works as a sports presenter and sports reporter (also for the ARD sports show).

Life

Jacobs studied economics at the Humboldt University in Berlin and graduated in 1998 with a degree in economics . During this time he began working as an editor and reporter for the ZDF morning magazine in Berlin. For the sports department, he reported regularly on the Bundesliga , the Olympic Games , the Tour de France and the World and European Football Championships, in which he accompanied the German national football team. From 2010 to 2012 he worked as a soccer Bundesliga reporter for the current sports studio , the sports report on ZDF , and as an author and interviewer for ZDF-Olympia-live at the 2012 Games in London .
