Dirk Meussling

Dirk Meußling (* 1967 in Kiel ) is a German freelance photographer .

Life

Dirk Meußling was a student of the Hanoverian photographer Joachim Giesel . His work includes, for example, photographs of prepared gourmet menus by Sven Elverfeld , the chef of the “Aqua” restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Wolfsburg , who was then awarded two Michelin stars .

In addition to illustrated books, from around the end of 2008 Meußling produced more than 60 larger-than-life portraits of writers such as Günter Grass , Stefan Heym , Cees Nooteboom , Marcel Reich-Ranicki with his wife Theophila, Martin Walser and Dieter Hildebrandt on behalf of the Hanover Theater Museum .

At the beginning of the 21st century Meußling lived with his wife and a daughter in Isernhagen .
