Dirk van Damme
Dirk van Damme (born January 15, 1934 in Antwerp , † January 6, 1997 ) was a Belgian patristic .
Life
He joined the Dominicans in 1952 and studied in Leuven . After graduating as Dr. theol. at the University of Freiburg im Üechtland in 1965 he was appointed lecturer in patristics in 1967, assistant professor in 1969, associate professor in 1971 and full professor in 1976.
