Divjaka ( Albanian  also  Divjakë ) is a small town and the official seat of the Bashkia of the same name in western Albania with 8,445 inhabitants (2011). The Adriatic Sea and the Karavasta Lagoon are about five and two kilometers away, respectively. The Divjaka-Karavasta National Park lies between the city and the sea , which includes the lagoon and a pine forest on the coast and is a Ramsar reserve . Divjaka beach is located on the narrow headland between the lagoon and the sea .

The town is the small center of the rural region in the west of the former Lushnja district and is characterized by agriculture.

Divjaka has only had town charter since 1995 and is the administrative center of a Bashkia until 2015, which in addition to the town also included the surrounding villages of Bishçukas , Gërmenj i Vogël , Gërmenj , Hallvaxhias , Bregas , Dushk Can , Xeng , Miza and Zharnec . In 2015 Divjaka was merged with the surrounding communities of the dissolved Lushnja district. Since then, the municipalities Grabjan (3638 inhabitants) in the southeast, Gradishta (7521 inhabitants) and Rremas (4449 inhabitants) in the south with the village of Adriatik and Tërbuf (10,201 inhabitants) in the northeast belong to Bashkia . The whole community has almost 35,000 inhabitants (as of 2011).
