Dmitri II. ( Russian Дмитрий Михайлович; * 1299 ; † September 15, 1326 ) was Grand Duke of Vladimir and Prince of Tver from the Rurikids dynasty from 1318 . He was a son of Mikhail Yaroslavich and Anna von Kashin .

In 1320, Dmitri II succeeded his father , who had been murdered by Yuri I Daniilowitsch , as Prince of Tver , but had to give the Khan his word that he did not want to continue fighting for the Grand Duchy with his father's murderer. Like his father before, Dmitri competed with Yuri I Daniilowitsch of Moscow for the dignity of the Grand Duke of Vladimir. He was able to get the title in 1318. In 1322 Dmitri Özbeg , the khan of the Golden Horde , was able to make credible that Yuri had evaded tributes due to the Mongols. The Khan deposed Yuri as Grand Duke and transferred the title to Dmitri. He immediately moved towards Moscow, Yuri fled to the Khan's court, where he was slain by Dmitri in 1325 in front of Özbeg's eyes. The Khan then also had Dmitri executed. He was succeeded by his brother Alexander Mikhailovich.
