Dmitri Igorewitsch Klopow ( Russian Дмитрий Игоревич Клопов ; born October 7, 1989 in Gorki , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Amur Khabarovsk from the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Dmitri Klopov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Vysschaya League , the second division of Russia, in the 2005/06 season , after having previously played for Torpedo's second team in the third-rate Pervaya League scored 48 scorer points in 57 games, including 22 goals. In the 2006/07 season , the winger prevailed in the professional team of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and rose with his team as second division champions in the super league . In the 2007/08 season he scored eight goals in 40 games and gave four assists.

Since the 2009/10 season Klopow is on the ice for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . From 2009 to 2011 he also played for the junior team of his club in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga and in the 2010/11 season he spent most of the season at HK Sarov in the new second division, the Wysschaja Hockey League . For Sarov he scored 26 points scorer in 43 games, including 15 goals.

In the 2012/13 season Klopow was under contract with Lokomotive Yaroslavl and played for the second team in the Vysschaya Hockey League. He then returned to HK Sarov.

Between 2015 and 2017 Klopow played for Rubin Tyumen , also in the second division.

International

For Russia Klopow took part in the U20 Junior World Cup in 2009 , where he won the bronze medal with his team. He contributed to this success with five goals and two assists in seven games.
