Dmitri Vjatscheslawowitsch Tschelowenko ( Russian Дмитрий Вячеславович Человенко ; born April 3, 1974 in Gorky ) is a former Russian ski jumper .

Career

His international debut Tschelowenko at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Swedish Falun . He jumped from the large hill to 86 and 89 meters and thus reached rank 37. From the normal hill, he finished 56th after jumps on 73.5 and 66 meters. Together with Andrei Sagrjaschski , Sergei Michejew and Michail Jessin , he finally reached 13th place out of 14 teams in the team competition.

A year later he started at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer . However, he was unable to assert himself and only finished 54th on the normal hill. On the large hill, he also did not get above 49th place. With the team, he finished 12th in team jumping.

In the 1995/96 season he started internationally in the B-team and achieved 127th place overall in the ski jumping Continental Cup with 45 points.

At the 1996 Summer Grand Prix , Chelovenko achieved 44th place overall with a total of 10 points. At the beginning of the 1996/97 season , he made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup on December 8, 1996 . However, he jumped past the points in Kuusamo in 43rd place. He then switched to the B squad and jumped again in the ski jumping Continental Cup. Although there were no points successes he came back in January 1997 for the Austrian jumping of the Four Hills Tournament 1996/97 in the A-team. Although he was again unsuccessful, he was able to reach 60th place in the tour's overall ranking. Chelovenko made his fourth and final World Cup appearance in Hakuba at the end of January. After he clearly missed the points there again, he was deleted from the squad again.

His last international tournament was the 1997 Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim. He retired from the normal hill after jumping to 73.5 meters after round one and finished 54th out of 58 starters. From the large hill he also did not reach the second round and landed with a jump to 98.5 meters in 42nd place. In the team competition, he landed on rank 12 together with Valeri Stoljarow , Artur Chamidullin and Alexander Volkov .
