Dmitri Wladimirowitsch Andreikin ( Russian Дмитрий Владимирович Андрейкин ; born February 5, 1990 in Ryazan ) is a Russian chess player who has held the title of grandmaster since 2007 .

successes

Andreikin won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place at the U14 junior championship of Russia in Smolensk (2001), 2nd – 3rd place. Place at the White Nights Open in Saint Petersburg (2003), 2nd place at the autumn tournament in Alushta (2004), 1st place at the U20 junior championship of Russia in Dagomys / Sochi (2009) and again 1st place at the U20 junior championship in Russia in Dagomys / Sochi (2010).

Andreikin won the U10 World Youth Championship in Oropesa del Mar in 1999 . In August 2010 he was U20 world champion at the Junior World Championships in the Polish city of Chotowa . In 2012 he won the Russian national championship in Moscow . Together with five other players, he got 5 points from 9 games and won the playoff in rapid chess with 4 points from 5 games.

In 2013 Andreikin was a finalist at the World Cup in Tromsø and thus qualified for the 2014 Candidates' tournament , in which he finished 5th out of eight participants with 7 out of 14 (+2 = 10 −2).

Team chess

Andreikin took part in the 2013 European Team Championship with the Russian national team and achieved third place with it. In the Russian team championship he played from 2008 to 2013 for the economist Saratov and in 2015 for the team of the Belorechensk University . At the European Club Cup Andreikin took from 2008 to 2012 with Ekonomist Saratov and 2015 Alkaloid Skopje part. With the team he won the competition in 2009 and 2010, in the individual ranking he achieved the second best result on the first reserve board in 2008, the best result in 2010 and the third best result on the fourth board in 2015. In the Ukrainian team championship in 2009 Andreikin played for PGMB Kharkiv and achieved the best result on the top board. In the Chinese team championship, he played for champions Shanghai Jianqiao University in 2016 and for Chongqing in 2017 .
