Do or Die is the first studio album by the Dropkick Murphys . Released in 1998, it is the only album that featured Mike McColgan , a founding member and front man at the time, before that firefighter with the Boston Fire Department but then returned to music and started the Street Dogs .
reception
Allmusic gave Do or Die three stars out of five and said the album was "an interesting mix of hardcore punk and traditional Irish influences". Punknews.org said "Fueled by the angry voice of Mike McColgan and the unforgettable grater Ken Casey , Do or Die is" a collection of some of the best Oi! / Street / punk rock pieces ever recorded ".

In the pilot episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles , a Do or Die poster can be seen on the bedroom wall of John Connors . The song Barroom Hero can be heard in the credits of Restrepo , and the track Never Alone can be found in the video game Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX .
