In 2347, after centuries of environmental destruction, the earth was so degraded that mankind had to move to a new artificially created one (here referred to as the "new world"). The spaceship Dogstar is responsible for the transport of all dogs and is led by two constantly arguing robots. During the journey, the spaceship loses course and disappears into space without a trace. The two children of the Clark family, Glenn and Simone, cannot come to terms with this and together with their grandmother want to find the family dog ​​Hobart again. To do this, they borrow their father Glorius' moving freighter and start looking.
