Rostudel dolmen
The Rostudel dolmen is located in the southwest of the municipality of Crozon -Morgat, in the Finistère department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
Five kilometers southwest of Morgat , near the hamlet of Keravel and about 50 meters from the highway, located between ferns , the huge north-south oriented Dolmen of Rostudel with his, m on three 1.5 high sidestones resting (three-point support) over three Meter long ceiling plate. This building has also lost its tumulus , possibly also its entrance, but in any case the intermediate masonry. It proves that the stone rows common in the area, such as the stone rows of Lagatjar , were supplemented by such tombs.
In Crozon and the neighboring communities Argol and Saint-Nie and on the hill of Ménez-Hom on the Crozon Peninsula , sacred to the Celts , there were once numerous simple dolmens. The dolmen type was very common in this area. Ty-ar-C'huré is a stone enclosure near Morgat.
