Dombiratos is a Hungarian community in the county Mezőkovácsháza in Békés county .

Geographical location

Dombiratos is a good 15 kilometers east of the city of Mezőkovácsháza on the Kutas-éri-csatorna canal . Neighboring communities are Kevermes, Almáskamarás, Kunágota and Nagykamarás.

The place was already in 1418 as Belsevyratos as and 1510 Dombyratos mentioned in writing.
