Dominik Hammer (born July 27, 1981 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey striker who was last under contract with EV Landshut in the Oberliga Süd .
Career
Dominik Hammer began his career in 2000 in his hometown at EV Landshut . In the 2001/02 season he won the Oberliga championship with Landshut and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . After another two years with the Cannibals, he received a license to support the Kassel Huskies in the German Ice Hockey League for the 2004/05 season . For the 2005/06 season , Hammer moved permanently to the Kassel Huskies, but left the club after 28 games and joined its league rivals Hannover Scorpions . In the 2006/07 season , the striker also changed during the current season: At the beginning he was still under contract with the Augsburg Panthers , but decided to return to his home club, the Landshut Cannibals, in the 2nd Bundesliga. After another season with the Cannibals, he moved to the Bietigheim Steelers in the summer of 2008 , with whom he won the second division championship in the 2008/09 season .
In the run-up to the 2011/12 season , Hammer received a try-out contract with Straubing Tigers from the DEL. After the trial contract expired, Hammer was initially without a club before he was signed by the Dresdner Eislöwen in mid-October 2011 . For the 2012/13 season he moved within the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga and signed a contract with the Hanover Indians . After a year in Lower Saxony and two years with the Bayern league club EV Moosburg , he played again from 2015 to 2017 with his parent club EV Landshut in the Oberliga Süd.
