Dominik Záleský (born August 23, 1995 ) is a Czech sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Dominik Záleský gained his first experience at international championships in 2017 at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he made it to the semifinals in the 100-meter run, in which he was eliminated with 10.39 seconds. He was also disqualified in the preliminary run with the Czech 4 x 100 meter relay. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei for the first time and was eliminated there with 12.18 s in the quarterfinals. The following year he took part in the 60-meter run at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and was eliminated there with 6.67 s in the semifinals. At the European Championships in BerlinHe retired with 10.55 s in the first round and reached the final with the relay, in which he no longer started. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama he was eliminated with 38.77 s in the run-up, before he then finished sixth at the Student World Games in Naples in 10.42 s, as well as with the Czech relay in 40.54 s.

In 2018 Záleský became Czech indoor champion in the 60-meter run.
