Dominique Fortin
Dominique Fortin (* 1961 in Montréal , Québec ) is a Canadian film editor .
Life
Dominique Fortin has been working in the field of film editing since the late 1980s and has so far accompanied more than 50 film and television productions. He worked closely with director Roger Spottiswoode on several productions .
He was nominated for an Emmy in 1996 for the television production Hiroshima and honored with an Eddie Award by the American Cinema Editors . Fortin received a Genie Award in 2004 for editing the film drama Head in the Clouds . At the same time he was awarded a Prix Jutra for his work on The Great Seduction .
