Dominique Répécaud

Dominique Répécaud (born March 1, 1955 in Lons-le-Saunier , † November 19, 2016 ) was a French fusion musician (guitar) and music producer .

Act

Répécaud initially belonged to the free rock bands Soixante Étages and Étage 34 . As artistic director of the Center Culturel André Malraux , he directed the influential avant-garde festival Musique Action in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy . He also played in the trio Le Complexe de la Viande (with the poet Serge Pey and the theremin player Laurent Dailleau) and in the quartet Misère et Cordes , which performed free improvisational music. He can also be heard on albums by Pascal Comelade , Dominique Regef and Dominique Grimaud. In 2000 he released the Ana Ban CD , a collection of duos, under his own name . He also ran the independent 33revpermi label .

Répécaud died of a heart attack.
