Do not Be Afraid of the Dark ( English for "Do not be afraid of the dark") is a studio album by American blues -Musikers Robert Cray and was on August 8, 1988 under the record label Mercury Records released. Allmusic critic Jason Elias praised the traditional blues sound of the album, but notes an audible listlessness of the artist and his band.
