Dora Gardner
Dora Kathleen Gardner (born May 6, 1912 in the London Borough of Croydon , † June 1994 in Bournemouth ) was a British high jumper .
In 1938 she won silver for England starting at the British Empire Games in Sydney ; she was also seventh in the long jump . At the European Athletics Championships in Vienna , she was fifth.
In 1946 she was seventh at the European Championships in Oslo and in 1948 eighth at the Olympic Games in London .
In 1945 and 1946 she became English champion.
