The church

The Protestant village church Altdörnfeld in the district Altdörnfeld the city Blankenhain in the district Weimarer Land in Thuringia is located south of the village.

history

The church still has some Gothic remains, but has a baroque robe. The nave has a gable and a hipped roof as well as dormers . In the choir and in the nave are square window.

Inside, the house has a strict Protestant concept: the pulpit altar and above the altar organ . The organ from the 18th century is well preserved.

The small church is being renovated step by step. The church is listed as a cyclist's church in the EKD's directory of cycle path churches .
