history
Altdörnfeld was first mentioned in a document on May 18, 876. With this first mention, the village is probably one of the oldest settlements in the surrounding area. Perhaps Neudörnfeld was already settled at this time, but not yet registered.
Altdörnfeld is a square village / Rundling . The courtyards are built around the square, which was the Slavic way of settlement. The village was and is characterized by agriculture. Now the settlements are called Alt-Neudörnfeld .
