Kleinlohma is also 4.5 km northeast of Blankenhain. The mean height is 400 m above sea level. To the south-west there is a forest area called Költsch . Großlohma is the neighboring village. Both have the same connection road to state road 1060 with a connection at Magdala to the nearby federal motorway 4 . The district mostly consists of shell limestone weathered soils away from the groundwater.

history

That of Slavs scale Rundlingsdorf was mentioned in a document on 24 July 1259 for the first time. Other authors provide the date for Wenygen Lome to be 1376. The rule of Blankenhain and the Weimar Office had sovereignty over the place. Large and medium-sized farmers cultivated the land. In the Thirty Years' War and the place was destroyed. In 1905 the church was demolished and only a bell house was built. After the Second World War the place had to mourn seven fallen men and 38 resettlers came to the place. On April 1, 1959, large and small Lohma were united to form Lohma .

church

In 1905 the church of Kleinlohma was demolished after it had only been used as a parish hall since the end of the 18th century. But a bell with the inscription: "1483 Maria" has been preserved. In the vernacular, the bell is called "Luther Bell" because of this year. A turret was built for the bell in 1912 and it still adorns the village square today.
