Rannstedt village church
The Protestant-Lutheran , listed village church of Rannstedt is in Rannstedt , a municipality in the Weimarer Land district of Thuringia . The parish Rannstedt part of the parish association Bad Sulza II (parish Niedertrebra) in the parish of Apolda Buttstaedt the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The small hall church was built in 1716. The retracted, rectangular choir with two lancet windows on the east side is early Gothic . The nave is of an indefinite age; it was last rebuilt in the 18th century. After decades of decline, the church began its restoration in 1994. The choir tower was completely renewed. It was covered with a hipped roof from which a slate roof turret rises. The nave was covered with a half hip roof. The interior has galleries on three sides and is covered with a wooden barrel vault.
The modest church furnishings include an organ with 10 registers , which are divided into 2 manuals and a pedal . It was built in 1875 by an unknown organ builder and restored by Gerhard Kirchner in 1935 .
