View into the nave

The building was built in neo -Gothic style from reddish brick with a base made of field stones . The north and south sides of the nave are geometrically structured and symmetrical: Below the west tower are two small ogival openings, of which the western one is set a little higher. Above you can see a circular window that was designed as a white plastered panel on the north side . In the alignment of these elements, the three large neo-Gothic windows in the nave were evenly distributed over the remaining area. They each consist of two coupled pointed arched windows with a circular window also arranged above. The lower lying areas are also lightly plastered. The transition to the eaves creates a bright, plastered band across the entire width of the nave. This style element can also be found in the recessed, semicircular apse with three windows. Above the conical roof is a circular aperture in the gable. A small ridge sits above it . The simple gable roof , like the roof of the apse, is covered with a reddish beaver tail .

In the rectangular, solid-looking west tower, there are two segment-arched windows on the north and south sides at the level of the roof. A cornice separates the tower floor with two coupled, beehive-shaped sound arcades on each side. Above it is a curved tower dome with a tower ball and a cross. Access to the church is through a pointed arched portal into which a beehive-shaped gate is built. Above this, a circular window and two further, segment-arched windows are arranged axially symmetrically.

Furnishing

The church furnishings , including a wooden west gallery, date from the construction period. On it is a two-manual organ made by the Thuringian organ builder Adam Eifert . The instrument with nine registers was renovated in 2017. In the southeast of the nave there is a pulpit with a polygonal pulpit .
