The village church Schwittersdorf , St. Veit Church , is a listed Protestant church in the village of Schwittersdorf in the district of Beesenstedt of the unified municipality of Salzatal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 55455 .

Building history

The neo-Gothic church on Nauendorfer Straße, built during the founding period in the late 19th century , but which also contains elements from other building eras, is made of yellowish bricks . The 12-register organ was built in 1891 by the Wilhelm Rühlmann Organ Builders , Zörbig . The organ case was created by Gustav Kuntzsch , Institute for Church Art, Wernigerode .
