The Dornbach is an almost one kilometer long right and northeast tributary of the Wied in the Rhineland-Palatinate Westerwaldkreis .

The Dornbach rises at an altitude of about 315  m above sea level. NN in the Dornbachwiese in Wied . It initially flows in a south-westerly direction through forest terrain. At the Hasenwiese , it goes around the local sports field, strongly straightened, and finally flows out at an altitude of about 292  m above sea level. NN from the right into the Wied .
