Dorothea Weber (* 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian classical philologist .

Life

Past and current research focuses on Latin late antiquity (especially the philological analysis and interpretation of texts from Latin late antiquity), edition philology (theory, methodology and practice of stemmatic editing), reception of ancient literature (in particular the Latin drama, the epicurean didactic poem of Lucretius as well as the Confessiones Augustins) and Latin didactic poem (positioning between specialist literature and epic, relationship of form to content).
