Life

Drexler began his film staff career in 1983 as an uncredited special effects makeup artist on the horror film Desire by Tony Scott . He subsequently worked as a makeup artist and special effects artist on a number of Hollywood productions , including Starman , Manhunter - Red Dragon and A Fateful Affair . In 1991 , he and John Caglione Jr. won the Oscar for Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles for Warren Beatty's comic adaptation Dick Tracy .
