Douglas Turner (athlete)
Douglas Turner (also Doug Turner ; born December 2, 1966 ) is a former British sprinter .
Life
In 1998 he was fifth over 200 m at the European Indoor Championships in Valencia . At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest , he won silver over the same distance. Shortly thereafter, he came at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur with the Welsh team in fourth place in the 4-by-100-meter relay and took bronze in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville reached the quarter-finals. In 2002 he finished eighth in the Commonwealth Games in Manchester with the Welsh 4 x 100 meter relay.
In 1996 and 2002 he was the English indoor champion over 200 m.
