Douglass Pope Cadwallader (born January 29, 1884 in Springfield , Illinois , † February 7, 1971 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) was an American golfer .
biography
Douglass Cadwallader played golf at Springfield Country Club .
At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis when were the team event only two teams reported. Without further ado, ten players joined together and started as the United States Golf Association . This team, which also included Cadwallader, won the bronze medal. Cadwallader acted as organizer and captain of the team. In the individual, however, he was eliminated in the first round against Ralph McKittrick .
