Program and authors
In April 2019, the publishing program includes around 500 works by around 150 authors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain and the USA. In addition to debut authors, the publisher publishes the works of authors such as Rhys Bowen , MJ Trow , Janet Laurence , Lois Greiman, Gemma Townley , Douglas P. Lyle and Katie MacAlister in German-speaking countries. Jens Lossau , Albrecht Behmel and Ursula Großmann were among the publisher's first authors in 2014 .
The publishing house serves the entire spectrum of popular literature with its program . Among them are love stories , historical novels, sophisticated erotic novels, thrillers , thriller , psychological thriller , humor, young adult and fantasy . In addition, the program is dedicated to a number of trending topics that overlap target groups and genres. These include sports romance, rock star romance, young romance novels ( chick lit ), new adult, cozy crime and romance.
Audio book and podcast
In addition to paperbacks and e-books, audiobooks have also been produced and published under the dp audiobooks brand since the beginning of 2020 . The audiobooks are available in bookstores and on audiobook and streaming platforms as a download or stream.

All works that can be assigned to the area of popular literature appear under the publishing brand dp Verlag . These include the Louisa Manu series and the Baseball Love series by Saskia Louis, the Darina Lisle series by Janet Laurence, the Historical Love series by Patricia Cabot , the Constable Evans series by Rhys Bowen or the Erik Lindberg series by Thomas Kowa. The program also includes individual titles by the authors Astrid Korten, Elli C. Carlson, Jaromir Konecny and Patricia Walter.
Secret Desires
With Secret Desires the publisher focuses on works whose stories aim to stimulate the female imagination with erotic content. According to the publisher, the target group are women between 25 and 55 years of age who read high-quality erotic literature. Authors of this series include Kathy Fox, Lia Bergman, Erin Buchanan and Bettina Kiraly .
Booksnacks
With the Booksnacks brand , dp Digital Publishers launched a short story platform for readers and authors in 2017 .
The platform enables authors to publish short stories and to test their effect on the closed readership. With this test, authors can also publish across genres and dare to experiment with writing.
dp audiobooks
The audio books produced in-house are published under the dp audiobooks brand . The first audio books are adaptations of the hit series A Case for Constable Evans voiced by Omid-Paul Eftekhari and On Her Majesty's behalf voiced by Arlett Drexler by the English author Rhys Bowen as well as parts of the department store dynasty series The Sisters of the Department Store Dynasty by Mila Sommerfeld voiced by Brigitte Carlsen . But also individual works like The Secret of Rose Castle by Daniela Kappel , spoken by Dagmar Bittner , are presented in the program.
Book chat
Under Buchplausch , the publisher produces and broadcasts a weekly podcast for those interested in literature and publishing. In addition to book presentations, topics related to the publication of books and audio books are discussed, but speakers and authors are also interviewed.

Literature funding
Together with the writer and artist Albrecht Behmel , the publisher developed the Samiel Award for literature. This nominated the Antagonist of the Year and its literary creator. The award was presented in 2014 and 2015 together with the Osiander bookstore . The 2014 award winner was Jan Kossdorff for Kauf Menschen . In 2015 JH Praßl won the Social Samiel Award 2015 with the Chronicles of Chaos and Order .
dp Digital Publishers is a partner of the authors' association DeLiA and Das Syndicat .
