action
Maya Dolittle, daughter of veterinarian Dr. Dolittle, inherited a special talent from her father: she understands the language of animals. Unfortunately, she is in the middle of an adolescent crisis. Her mother Lisa therefore sends her to the Durango holiday farm, where city children are supposed to learn a down-to-earth country life. In addition to many new interlocutors, Maya is also waiting for a romance. When a hostile entrepreneur threatens to take over at a rodeo, all of your talents are required to prevent this.
background
- It is the third part of a total of five parts in the Dolittle series, but the first in which Eddie Murphy and Raven-Symoné Pearman do not play.
- In the original version, the Canadian actor Norm MacDonald speaks the voice of the dog Lucky , in German it's Thomas Fritsch .
criticism
"Second continuation of the Dr. Dolittle "material, this time without Eddie Murphy, who has left his duties to his film family. The low-demanding comedy relies on the attraction of cute animals and uses the clichés of numerous teen films."
