Dracula's daughter and professor Satanas ( Mexican original title La mujer murciélago = The Bat Woman , based on English Batwoman ) is a Mexican science fiction , horror and superhero film from 1968 , starring well-known luchadores like Crox Alvarado in Acapulco and the Estudios Churubusco Azteka in Mexico City was produced.

Well-known athletes are disappearing in Acapulco, but also on the other side of the Pacific , in Macau and Hong Kong . Their bodies found in the water show features of brain surgery that only a surgeon can perform.
Since the local police are at a loss, they get help from the capital from the special agent Captain Mario Robles, who works for a special investigation team. Through the mediation of Mario, the bat woman is involved in the investigation. In the bay of Acapulco lies the yacht Reptilicus of Dr. Williams, a mad scientist . In his laboratory, he conducts biological experiments on corpses. With a substance taken from the corpse from the pineal gland , which he transfers into fish, he wants to create a fish man who can live both on land and under water. So far, all experiments have failed. But Williams is lucky with the kidnapping and murder of the "Swede", a well-known Luchador. The experiment succeeds and the resulting sea monster can move and breathe both on land and in water. Williams controls the sea monster through a brain wave transmitter.
The bat woman, who is also a highly professional diver , secretly investigates on board the Reptilicus and discovers Dr. Williams plans. When she is surprised by his henchmen and Williams is presented in the laboratory, she pours acid on his face. In the general confusion, she managed to escape. Williams is furious and swears revenge. During another dive near the yacht, the bat woman only barely manages to escape the monster that is afraid of fire. Attempts by Williams' henchmen to land them on land fail.
Through the investigations of the police and the bat woman, the suspicions against Williams intensify more and more. Reports arrive from Hong Kong and Macau that Williams Reptilicus were in port at the time of the murders . Williams prepares everything for the escape from Acapulco, but absolutely wants to master the bat woman in order to create female fish people with her so that he can breed his own breed with which he wants to rule the oceans. He has an agent secretly attach a mini-transmitter to the bat woman's hood as she leaves the Luchadoras arena .
Williams uses the transmitter to direct the monster into the villa of the bat woman, who has discovered the transmitter but initially does not recognize its function. The monster can surprise and kidnap her, but is hindered by Mario at the last moment, so that the fish man returns on board the yacht without the heroine . The bat woman, Mario and the police inspector sneak onto the yacht, but are discovered and captured. In a scramble, the bat woman succeeds in placing the transmitter she is carrying on the back of Dr. Williams to attach. Shortly before Williams begins the operation on her, the monster suddenly appears and invades him, attracted by the transmitter. In the general chaos, a fire breaks out in the laboratory, the prisoners are able to free themselves and flee in a boat. The Reptilicus explodes, apparently there are no survivors.
Mario, his colleague and the bat woman drink cocktails to their success in a bar . Suddenly she cries out and shouts: “Kill her!” The two policemen look up in amazement and see a small rat on the floor .

The film was made in 1967 in the context of the Batman television series and the feature film Batman keeps the world in suspense . The idea of the mad scientist who carries out biological experiments on humans can already be found in Alfredo Salazar's figure of Dr. Krupp from the Aztec mummy films of 1958/59 again. The figure of the sea monster is based strongly on the fish people from The Terror of the Amazon .
