Draga Stamejčič
Draga Stamejčič (married Pokovec; born February 27, 1937 in Ljubljana ; † August 16, 2015 ibid.) Was a Yugoslav hurdler , pentathlete and sprinter .
In 1958 she was tenth in the pentathlon at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm , and in 1959 she won bronze over 80 m hurdles at the World Festival of Youth and Students .
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she was eliminated from the 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run.
In 1962 she was sixth in the pentathlon and fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Championships in Belgrade . She reached the semi-finals over 80 m hurdles .
On September 5, 1964, she set a world record over 80 m hurdles in Celje with 10.5 seconds. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she was fifth in the pentathlon with her personal best of 4790 points and seventh in the 80 m hurdles .
