The Trinity Chapel is on the outskirts of Jakobwüllesheim , a district of the municipality of Vettweiß in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia .

Building

The chapel is made of bricks . The roof is covered with slate . The structure has a diameter of six meters. It is located directly at the entrance to Jakobwüllesheim on Kreisstraße 33 coming from Vettweiß across from Kapellenweg.

Furnishing

In the chapel there are wooden representations of the Trinity , the dove was stolen in 1972. To the right of the altar is the statue of St. Donatus , on the left that of St. Wendelinus .

Processions

Corpus Christi is given in the chapel of the blessing . In spring during the sowing, on Trinity Sunday and in autumn after the harvest there is a procession to the chapel on a Sunday afternoon . On the way we pray: for good weather, to St. Trinity and thanks for the harvest. A litany is prayed at the chapel , then the procession moves back to the church , where it dissolves. The spring and autumn procession are not tied to a specific date.

The chapel is a listed building .
