Drew Nowak (* 7. March 1990 in Green Bay , Wisconsin ) is a former American American football player at the position of the center . He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).

NFL

Jacksonville Jaguars

Nowak signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012 after not being selected in the 2012 NFL Draft . Nowak was originally committed as a defensive tackle , but was retrained to the position of the guard after several failures in the offensive line of the Jaguars . Nowak didn't play a single game in the 2012 season . He was released on August 30, 2013, but signed up for the Practice Squad on September 1 . On December 17, he was transferred to the main squad. The Jaguars released Nowak on August 29, 2014.

Seattle Seahawks

On September 3, 2014, the Seattle Seahawks signed Nowak for their Practice Squad. For the 2015 season he moved to the position of the center and was named a starter by the Seahawks. On December 1, 2015, he was fired to have a place in the main squad for the new signing of Chase Coffman . On December 9, 2015, Nowak was hired by the Seahawks for the Practice Squad . On April 4, 2016, he was fired by the Seahawks because they needed space in the roster to sign the drafted players.

Kansas City Chiefs

On May 10, 2016, the Kansas City Chiefs signed him. He was released on August 28, 2016.
