Chase Allen Coofman (* 10. November 1986 ) is a former American American football poker players. He played seven seasons on the tight end position in the National Football League (NFL).

NFL

Cincinnati Bengals

Coffman was selected as the 98th player in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals . On December 9, 2009, Coffman was placed on the Injured Reserve List due to a left ankle injury , which ended his season. He ended his rookie season without ever playing.

On September 4, 2010, the Bengals released Coffman and signed him to their practice squad the following day . On September 4, 2011 he was released again and the following day he was recruited for the Practice Squad. After the end of the 2011 season , his contract was not renewed.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On February 21, 2012, Coffman signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent . He was released on August 6, 2012.

Atlanta Falcons

On August 11, 2012, the Atlanta Falcons signed Coffman, but released him 14 days later. On September 2, 2012, the Falcons enlisted Coffman for their Practice Squad . On November 13, 2012, he was activated for the main squad and dismissed after the end of the 2013 season .

Tennessee Titans

Coffman was signed by the Tennessee Titans on August 6, 2014 . He was released on August 30, but reassigned on September 23, 2014.

On November 9, 2014, Coffman caused a scandal when he ran to the opponent's dugout after an interception from Zach Mettenberger and knocked the assistant coach of the Baltimore Ravens Tony Coaxum to the ground. The NFL fined him $ 30,000 as a result.

During the off-season prior to the 2015 season , Coffman was fired and reinstated several times by the Titans, but ultimately failed to prevail.

Seattle Seahawks

Coffman was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on December 1, 2015 after Jimmy Graham was placed on the Injured Reserve List . On December 8th, however, he was released again, before he was committed again to the end of the season on December 15, 2015.

Indianapolis Colts

On July 26, 2016, the Indianapolis Colts signed Coffman, but fired him before the first regular season game. On October 18, 2016, he was signed again by the Colts. He played on the 7th and 8th matchday before he was released again on November 1, 2016.
