The scouts described Graham before the NFL Draft in 2010 as "extremely athletic, with an outstanding combination of size and speed," yet he was seen as a diamond in the rough after he had collected only one year of college football experience. He was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the third round to 95th place and signed shortly after a four-year contract for 2,445,000 US dollars .
