The Woodstock of brass music is a four-day open-air festival that has been held annually since 2011 on four days on the last weekend in June in the Upper Austrian municipality of Ort im Innkreis . In 2011 the festival took place at Baumkronenweg in Kopfing im Innkreis . Bands and bands play both traditional and modern brass music . A third stage was also used for the first time in 2015. As of 2016, the “Tanzl & Gstanzl Stubm” was launched as the fourth stage on which, above all, real folk music or traditional dance music is offered in a wide variety of settings. Since 2017, a 250-year-old barn has served as the fifth stage on which, in addition to themed evenings, a wind service will take place on the last day of the festival. The festival is organized by Simon Ertl.

In addition to the stage show, there are numerous side events such as the Woodgames . In 2015, for the first time, a complete game of the guests was held, in which 5,000 musicians took part; in 2017, 10,000 people played.

In 2019, on Wednesday, July 3rd, the Elwood Music Festival took place for the first time with Parov Stelar , Pænda , Alma , AVEC , Eric Papilaya and the Hot Pants Road Club . In 2020 the event had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

With a program comparable to Woodstock, the Brass Wiesn has been taking place in Eching in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising since 2013 .
