The Dry River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

geography

River course

The river has its source south of Dillinya in the Aboriginal Reserve of the same name, east of the Buntine Highway and flows north. It passes the settlements Dry River (west of the river) and Old Dry River (east of the river) and flows northeast to its confluence with the King River , about 18 km east of Butchers Hill and about 50 km south of Katherine .
